Dental Implants
are prosthetic roots of Titanium, the same material used in hip and knee replacement. The present technique was developed by Swedish orthopedic surgeon and vascular researcher Dr Per-Ingvar Branemark in the early 1960s and was approved by Sweden's National Board of Health and Welfare for routine patient treatment in 1978.
